We are so thrilled to announce that Pear's Gourmet is sponsoring a new TV show called The Morning Blend (anyone else thinking coffee, here?). Produced by local CBS affiliate KMTV, The Morning Blend is debuting this coming Monday at 9:00 a.m.! We'll be stopping by the set this morning to meet hosts Mary and Mike as well as the production team. Marathon Ventures, Inc (MVI) owners recently returned from the state of Nayarit, Mexico where they are formalizing their direct trade relationship with the coffee growers from El Cuarenteno. This relationship is the result of a joint partnership with Cafes Sustentables de Mexico (CSM) and San Cristobal Coffee (SCC) importers. Pictured are representatives from MVI, CSM, SCC, the coop in El Cuarenteno as well as local and state governmental officials.

Marathon Ventures, Inc., a proud sponsor of Nebraska's Susan G. Comen Race For The Cure Event will once again be donating free cups of Pear's Gourmet coffee starting at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the Omaha Civic Auditorium.  In addition, we will be giving away 20,000 bags of Maggie's Gourmet Popcorn to Race attendees.
