Marathon Ventures, Inc., a proud sponsor of Nebraska's Susan G. Comen Race For The Cure Event will once again be donating free cups of Pear's Gourmet coffee starting at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the Omaha Civic Auditorium.  In addition, we will be giving away 20,000 bags of Maggie's Gourmet Popcorn to Race attendees.

Representatives from Marathon Ventures, Inc. will be attending the upcoming Private Label Manufacturer's Association (PLMA) Show taking place in Chicago, November 15-17, 2009. 

Please stop by booths 951 and 952 to meet several members of our private label program team.  We would love to visit with you regarding our experience in assisting some of the top retailers with transition and implementation of their private label programs.

In it's 5th consecutive year of sponsorship, Pear's Gourmet served over 800 free cups of coffee during this year's Omaha Marathon.  3,000 runners attended the event which took place at the Lewis & Clark Landing in downtown Omaha.   

Maggie's Gourmet Popcorn, a premium bagged popcorn manufactured by Marathon Ventures, Inc. of Omaha, Nebraska, partners with Lomar Distributing, a division of HyVee Food Stores.

Lomar Distributing will be taking on 6 items from Maggie's and will make these available to all 220 HyVee Food Stores, as well as HyVee Drug Stores. 

The F.A.R.K.L.E. Memorial Fund has joined forces with the Nebraska Medical Center's Patient Assistance Fund to further the cause to help those in need.  In the last year, the F.A.R.K.L.E. Memorial Fund has contributed over $15,000 to the Patient Assistance Fund. 

Join friends and relatives of Farkle (aka Mark Lordemann) in support of the Farkle Fund by participating in the 2nd Annual Farkle Fun Fest on June 27, 2009.  Fun consists of a Golf Tournament at Shoreline Golf Course in Carter Lake, Iowa followed by a dinner and silent auction.
